Stemming from Seoul, trained in Europe, Manhattan-based designer, artist, author and educator Yuna Yang is the epitome of today’s fashion Renaissance leaders.

YUNA YANG Collection, a luxury brand loved by Hollywood stars and World top class leaders. Featuring high-end designer wear, each design in the collection leverages a modern vision that harmonizes the quality of traditional couture. Her eponymous label, the YUNA YANG COLLECTION, is inspired by the colors, textures and narratives in fine art combined with her love of detail and unique Eastern perspective on Western aesthetics. Designed and produced in Manhattan, 'Made in New York' collection is proud to work with local producers to protect Manhattan's vanishing artisans. The collection that can be found in selected high-end retailers across the US,Europe,Middle East and Asia.

Following her initial degree in Fine Arts from Ewha Women’s University, Seoul, Yang’s true foray into fashion began after completing her design studies at Instituto Marangoni, Milan, Italy. Milan-based designer Alviero Martini offered her the rare opportunity to design evening dresses for Milan Fashion Week. Shortly after, Yuna received a second B.A. in Womenswear Design at Central Saint Martins, London U.K. while having worked with designers Ann-Sofie Back and Clements Ribeiro.

Launched in 2010 in New York Fashion week, with her F/W 2010 debut, the cover of Women’s Wear Daily proclaimed that she is “a sure winner just out of the gate with her charming Louise Brooks-inspired first collection.” Yuna Yang is recognized by fashion critics, New York Magazine (Nine Designers to Watch), followed by a second cover story in WWD titled as 'New York's New Wave', Manhattan magazine (Top 5 Newcomer), Mojeh Dubai (5 International Asian Designers to Watch in 2012) and Harper's Bazaar Taiwan (4 internationally rising star designers). Publications from three continents have featured YUNA YANG, including New York Times, Harper’s Bazaar Spain, Essence, Vogue Taiwan, Vogue Korea, Elle Italy, USA, Asahi Shimbun,Brides, Instyle, Numero, Glamour, New York post, Wall street Journal, l'officiel magazine, Madame Figaro, Grazia and many others. YUNA YANG Collection is a brand that is not only highly praised by the world press, but also loved by buyers. YUNA YANG 2019 New York Fashion week collection selected as Macy's VP's one of his favorite collections of New York Fashion week collection.

YUNA YANG collection is well-known with various interesting collaborations. In 2011, 20th Century Fox Studios chose YUNA YANG to create a capsule collection for the world film premiere of “Water for Elephants.” The well-received collection featured dramatic evening gowns with French lace and hand beading, at NYFW 2012 with rock band ‘Civil Twilight’ to cultural influencers such as recent Sundance film festival nominee Mona Fastvold (‘The Thief’ fashion film) which is unveiled in Nasdaq Time square during New York Fashion week; invented multi-use magic band for Shiseido creative center collaboration, respected Korean artist Hong Seung Hye (luxury Seoul department store exhibition in 2013); and Nick Cannon’s Project Canvas to support the Urban Art Partnership. She has collaborated with various luxury department stores, with Saks Fifth Avenue (Boston) hosted YUNA YANG as its marquee event at Fashion’s Night Out, Umeda Hakyu (Osaka, 2017), Isetan (Tokyo, 2015 ~2016), Lotte Avenuel (Seoul, 2014), Galleria (Seoul, 2013) and Shin Kong Mitsukoshi (Taiwan, 2013).

YUNA YANG has dressed many Hollywood stars, including a Grammy award winner Carrie Underwood for music video 'See you again', Walking dead star Danai Gurira, a super model Kendall Jenner, Julianne Hough, Jessica Lowndes, Carol Alt, , Darby Stanchfield, Brittany Snow, Ann Curry, Whitney Port, Anna Gunn, Maye Musk and top celebrities in Asia including 'Crash landing on you' actress Son Ye-jin, Super Junior, Son Na-eun, Song Yoon-ah, Park Ju-mi, Han Chea-young, Cine Hwang, Su Ae etc.
